It was wonderful to revisit St Nicholas’ Church in Laindon, Basildon, Essex. Theresa used to play there when she was a child as did I. There was a particular fascination with this lovely old church set so high on the hill with it’s amazing views and ancient gravestones. One of the beauties of it’s setting is the ability to take wedding photos with a different perspective, being able to capture wedding guests as they arrive coming up the steps was lovely.
Rev David Tudor of St Nicholas/Canvey Parish made the marriage ceremony fun and kept everyone in high spirits.
Theresa did much of her wedding shopping online, the wedding dress and bridesmaids’ dresses were all sourced this way as were the groom & groomsmen’s suits and waistcoats. The flowers were by Karon of Canvey Island and the unusual cake from Janes Cakes’
A huge Hummer from Essex Hummer Hire took almost everyone from St Nicholas’ to her & Michael’s reception at the stunning Ye Olde Plough House in Bulphan, Essex, where the wonderful scenery provided the perfect back drop for our wedding photography.
We captured plenty of images whilst Theresa & Michael were able to relax and enjoy walking in the grounds …
Gemma and her team were so helpful, nothing was too much trouble, we all enjoyed the food. Cameron delivered an excellent speech, very confident for a 14 yr old. The day was relaxed, happy and everything Theresa & Michael had hoped for as the photography clearly shows, from bridal preparations to the first dance and our couple are looking forward to receiving their Graphistudio album so that they can relive the wonderful memories of their day.
