Essex & Suffolk Wedding Photography, St Andrew’s, Bulmer & Smeetham Hall – Katy & Ryan

Smeetham Hall was the chosen venue for Katy and Ryan and it was beautiful as was St Andrew’s Church Bulmer, the perfect setting for our wedding photography.

Katy looked stunning in her wedding dress from Bellissima, it was a beautiful Ellis Bridal dress, All the staff were very friendly when picking ‘the one’. Katy only had praise for them. The bridesmaids wore Mori Lee from Bridal Boutique and Sarah Jones did the flowers, as you can see from our photographs they looked amazing. Emma Quin did Katy’s make up.

Katy and Ryan’s wedding bands came from the Jewellery Studio in Sudbury and were handmade by John and Jo the owners who are very pleasant to work with. Two real genuine people who look to give their customers the best service.

The Groomsman’s suits came from Abigails/The Grooms Room, Rob was a great person to liaise with when it came to choosing our suits, he had ideas of what would work with the bridesmaids outfits.

The gorgeous cars were from Brooks Vintage Cars, Len wasn’t hard selling his cars when we went to view them, he has a passion for them and can talk you through each and every one of them. Great to deal with and of course they looked wonderful parked at the end of the avenue of trees at St Andrews Church, we even managed to get a lovely shot of the bride’s Mother stepping out of one.

Smeetham Hall was perfect, Bridget and her team were fantastic leading up to the wedding. On the day we didn’t even realise they were there as it all just happened in the background! What we love about the venue was the rustic barn, the marquee and the grounds. Also supplying your own alcohol with zero corkage allowed us to choose wines that we liked drinking.

The caterer was Elizabeth Flowers, Lizzie was great from day one. She is professional and no ask was too big. Only praise from our guests regarding the food. The cake came from West Country Cheeses and made a nice change from traditional wedding cake.
