Wedding Photographers at St Andrews, Hornchurch & Holiday Inn, Brentwood, Essex – Tracy & Mark

Tracy and Mark had good weather for their wedding at St Andrews Church in Hornchurch, Essex, followed by the reception at the Holiday Inn in Brentwood. The church was beautiful and unusually had great light which really helped with our wedding photography, we took most of the wedding pictures in the grounds which were very suited for the purpose.

Tracy looked lovely in a dress from Special Occasions, the boys suits were from Moss Bros and the bridesmaids dresses were from good old BHS. The gorgeous old wedding car came from Arrow Vintage cars.

Essex Wedding Photographers at St Nicholas Church, Laindon & Sir Henry’s, Aveley – Kayleigh & James

Wedding Photographers at Leez Priory, nr. Chelmsford, Essex – Louise & Paul

Recently I did a wedding at the fabulous Leez Priory, what an amazing venue with 40 acres of grounds, gardens, lakes and a sweeping driveway to do the wedding photographs in. Louise and Paul were able to have their wedding ceremony outside as the weather was fine.

Louise wore a stunning dress from Turner & Pennell, literally hundreds of tiny lace flowers adorned the bodice. It was a pleasure to work with the lovely Alison from Turner & Pennell, I didn’t realise they did a dressing service so it was great for Louise to have someone there to give a hand and take some of the pressure off. Essex Wedding Photographer at Park Inn Palace, Southend on Sea – Iwona & Jonathan

It was a pleasure to do Iwona and Jonathan’s wedding, their chosen venue was the Park Inn Palace, ideally placed for views out over the estuary. The arty walls added colour to my wedding photography and made an interesting backdrop and seemed appropriate for what was to be a really fun day. The staff at the Park Inn Palace were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble, food was lovely and service was fantastic, a big thank you goes to Ewa for co-ordinating everything.

Essex Wedding Photographer at St Mary’s Benfleet & Rayleigh Club Rayleigh – Kayla & Louis

St Mary the Virgin church in South Benfleet was where Kayla and Louis got married, this fabulous old church was full of flowers as they had just had a flower festival this of course really contributed to our wedding photography and was a real bonus for the couple.

Wedding Photography at St Clements’ Leigh & Red Brick Barn, Rochford, Essex – Rosie & Peter

St Clement’s church in Leigh on Sea was where Rosie and Peter took their marriage vows, they both looked stunning, Rosie wore a gorgeous figure hugging dress from Bellisima in South Woodham Ferrers, and Peter wore a fab blue suit from Anthony’s in Billericay Essex. Folk gathered outside to see the happy couple set off in a VW camper van which took them to the fabulous Red Brick Barn ~ Sutton Hall in Shopland Road, Rochford.

We made the most of the weather and the beautful grounds for the wedding photography. The marquee looked amazing and was festooned with country flowers and bunting, jars with tea lights and jugs of Pimms set the scene and Rosies’ sister made the beautiful cake.

Essex Wedding Photography at St Andrew’s & The Lawn, Rochford – Gemma & Ben

Rain did not stop play for the wedding of Gemma to Ben which took place at St Andrews Church, Rochford with the reception held at The Lawn also in Rochford.

The Lawn is looking really beautiful at the moment, the flowers are in full bloom and the gardens provided a fabulous back drop for our wedding photography. The table settings in the orangery were wonderful as always, Flowers and Sparkle from Sevenoaks in Kent did a fabulous job of the table arrangements and Gemma’s and bridesmaids bouquets. Essex Wedding Photographer at The Rayleigh Club, Rayleigh – Kate & Nick

Kate and Nick got married at the ever popular Rayleigh Club, the weather was perfect. Kate looked lovely in her wedding dress which was from Chantilly Lace, the bridesmaids wore taupe dresses with sparkly detail, also from Chantilly Lace. The boys suits were from Matalan and waistcoat from Moss Bross. The balloons and centrepieces were by Lisa Gatehouse from Balloons, Butterflies & Bows based in Hullbridge. Our toastmaster for the day is also based in Hullbridge and that was John Richard.

Wedding Photography at Crowstone Church & The Westcliff Hotel, Essex – Christina & Timothy

Crowstone Church & the Westcliff Hotel were the chosen venues for Christina & Timothy’s wedding. The girls’ hair was done by another Christina from Novo hair and it stayed in perfectly, she was helped by our brides’ sister Sam.

Christina looked serene in a lovely lace dress from New Beginnings in Brentwood, her bridesmaids wore blue lace dresses from Coast and her flower girls wore pretty white dresses from Debenhams. Page boys outfits too came from Debenhams and the blue & white theme ran through the whole wedding with flowers kindly made by Tim’s Godmother, whilst Tim’s Mum and other family members helped make the beautiful wedding cake. It was a real family affair with Tim’s Dad taking the service.

Arrow Vintage Cars once again provided the elegant wedding cars.

The Westcliff Hotel and gardens opposite along with the lovely old shelter provided a perfect backdrop to our wedding photography.

Wedding Photographer at The Rayleigh Club, Rayleigh, Essex – Tracy & Ian

The Rayleigh Club have now added a stunning boutique hotel to their list of facilities. The Bridal suite is beautiful with a well thought out decorative scheme providing a perfect backdrop to our bridal preparation photography.

Tracy looked gorgeous in a Justin Alexander creation bought from Precious Moments in Rayleigh, her makeup was by Amy Phillips and hair by Jerry of Jon Sturgeon in Leigh. Ian too looked great in a smart grey suit from Moss Bros.

Tracy and Ian celebrated with family and friends in the Ruby room which was full of stunning flower arrangements by Penny Jane of Leigh on Sea, their tasteful cake was by Fancy Nancy also of Leigh.

Wedding Photography at St John’s, Loughton & Marriott, Waltham Abbey, Essex – Kelly & Rob

Kelly & Rob chose the beautiful old St John’s Church in Loughton, Essex for their wedding. The Rev Richard Fisher took the service which was particularly nice as he has known the family for years. The setting was a real plus for our wedding photos. Kelly’s flowers were supplied & arranged by her friend Denise, complete with a photo of her late father, with her on her wedding day.

Kelly’s dress came from Amorea Bridal in Ongar. The boys suits came from Moss Bros. A Hummer limo from 1st Direct took Kelly to the church and the happy couple onto their reception at the Marriott in Waltham Abbey.

The gorgeous Vaulty Manor in Heybridge near Maldon in Essex was where Rachel & Andrew chose to get married, this lovely setting with it’s old trees and red brick walls was perfect for our wedding photographs. There is as much charm inside as outside, the beams provide a warm and welcoming area which look stunning when decked out with tables, chairs and all the little details which photograph well. Essex Wedding Photographers at St Nicholas’ Basildon & Ye Olde Plough House, Bulphan – Theresa & Michael

It was wonderful to revisit St Nicholas’ Church in Laindon, Basildon, Essex. Theresa used to play there when she was a child as did I. There was a particular fascination with this lovely old church set so high on the hill with it’s amazing views and ancient gravestones. One of the beauties of it’s setting is the ability to take wedding photos with a different perspective, being able to capture wedding guests as they arrive coming up the steps was lovely.

Wedding Photographer at St Catherine’s, Wickford & Ye Olde Plough House, Bulphan, Essex | Hayley & Steven

Another visit to Ye Olde Plough House at Bulphan for Hayley & Steven’s wedding provided us with wonderful scenery for our wedding photography.

The day started well and our bride and bridesmaids, Mum and Dad were all ready and organised when I arrived. Hayley looked lovely in a lace dress from Blush Bridal, Rawreth, (Trudy Lee design). The wedding photos began in Hayley’s parents’ immaculate garden, the bridesmaids wore purple dresses from Bridesmaids from Belissima, (Kelsey Rose design), South Woodham Ferrers, and everything was colour co-ordinated. the flowers were splendid and came from World of Flowers.

Wedding Photographers at Gosfield Hall, Essex – Amy & Richard

Gosfield Hall in Essex is one of the most beautiful venues I have worked in, in fact it’s so lovely it’s a struggle for a wedding photographer to choose where to take the photos.

Amy and Richard chose Gosfield Hall, Halstead, Essex for their wedding. Amy wore one of the most stunning dresses I have seen and was happy to become ‘model bride for a day’ and pose for our wedding photography.

The beautiful lace creation was by Ellis Bridals and came from Bellissima in South Woodham Ferrers. Amy carried a simple but elegant bouquet of lilies, her bridesmaids looked fabulous in coordinating dresses, (also from Bellisimma) with matching flowers in their bouquets, their dresses matched the colours in the guy’s cravats, showing how much thought was put into the detail. The boys looked perfect in suits from Anthony’s in Billericay.

Essex Wedding Photography from Channels Golf Club, Chelmsford – Helen & Ian

Our first wedding of the season was held at the fabulous Channels Golf Club in Little Waltham near Chelmsford in Essex. Helen and Ian chose well because Channels is a lovely venue with many great areas for wedding photos. The avenue of trees looked very different without leaves but still provided a fabulous backdrop for our wedding photography. In spite of it being a very cold March day our bride braved the weather in order to get some lovely and memorable images.
Helen looked stunning in a lace dress from Grace & Lace in Chelmsford, Essex. The bridesmaids wore beautiful classic dresses in blue, Ian and the boys looked great in their suits from Anthony’s in Billericay. Helen’s bouquet and all other flowers came from Elegance in Chelmsford. Katie Poole from Leigh on Sea did a superb job of Helen’s make up as can be seen from our photographs. Classic Rolls Royce cars were provided by Aristocars from Billericay. Our DJ for the evening playing some good tunes was Peter Gibbs from Billericay.

Roslin Beach Hotel, Southend, Essex Wedding Photographer – Alison & Ian

Alison and Ian celebrated their wedding surrounded by family and friends at the Roslin Beach Hotel in Thorpe Bay, Southend.

Alison looked fab in a gorgeous Ronald Joyce dress, her unusual shoes were Vivienne Westwood, a present from Ian and bought at the Ruby Rooms, her unique and wonderful bouquet was made by Shaun at Flowowers, and their yummy cake was done by ‘Knicker Boccie Choccie’ in Coggeshall. We were entertained by the lovely Max Curto vocalist.

Essex Wedding Photographer – Southend Registry Office & Roslin Beach Hotel – Marina & Dean

Back to the Roslin Beach Hotel again for the wedding of Marina and Dean, we managed to get some lovely wedding photos on the sea front in spite of the cold weather. Marina looked stunning in an elegant dress from A Touch Too Wild, it suited her really well. Marina was a good sport and was happy to do some modelling for me to show off her lovely dress.

The children looked gorgeous too with Saffron wearing a very pretty dress and Samuel wearing a suit just like Daddy’s. Their outfits were handmade, tailored from scratch by Kim Cannon who has her own boutique in Southend.

Apparently the food was gorgeous and everything went well thanks to manager Jorge. Marina and Dean look very happy with their chosen venue.

Wedding Photographers at Stock Brook Manor, Essex – Karen & Darren

Karen married Darren at the amazing Stock Brook Country Club. The wedding photo opportunities are endless there and we made the most of the avenue of trees, with it’s autumnal colours and fabulous light. Carl from Arrow Vintage Cars drove us there in a 1929 Pierce Arrow and the car looked superb against the stunning backdrop.

Karen looked lovely in a dress from Thea Bridal and she enlisted the help of Jayne Hawker from Hadleigh Hats & Wedding Nites (who supplied the shoes and underwear). Jayne’s calm, helpful manner enabled Karen to relax. The bridesmaids wore gorgeous Phase Eight dresses in a dark purple and the younger bridesmaids had dresses from John Lewis. Hair and make up was done by Gail Gardner who we recently worked with at Gosfield Hall. The boys looked good in smart grey suits from Moss Bros.

A big shout out to Lorraine at Stock Brook Manor who was absolutely brilliant on the day, she organised everything with precision timing so that the wedding day and evening ran smoothly, thanks again Lorraine!

St John’s Southend & Roslin Beach Hotel, Thorpe Bay, Essex Wedding Photographers – Ali & Chris

It was a pleasure to photograph Ali and Chris’ wedding particularly as the bride went to Guides with my daughter. It was also great to see the lovely Rev. Stephen Burdett again doing his stuff at St John’s Church in Southend, Ali’s family have been coming to St John’s for years, and in fact her Grandmother was also married here. After the service a Routemaster bus took all the guests back to the Roslin Beach Hotel where the reception was held. Unfortunately we couldn’t get any wedding photos on the beach as rain stopped play but we did get some good images inside the Roslin with the Thorpe Bay beach in the background.

Ali looked beautiful in a lovely dress from Johanna Hehir. The gorgeous flowers were from Scent in Leigh on Sea.

Wedding Photography at St Margaret’s Church, Stanford Rivers, Essex – Georgina & Tom

Georgina and Tom were married at the beautiful old St Margarets Stanford Rivers Church. The interlude for the Register signing became a highlight thanks to the wonderful voice of Emily Yarrow singing from the balcony within the church.

There is a corridor of trees before you get to the church door and it gives a fabulous backdrop to the wedding photos.

Many brides choose to wear subtle make up on their wedding day but Georgina surprised us with her bold look, she looked vibrant and amazing. Georgina chose a gorgeous Demetrios gown, (a prestigious leader in bridal fashion), bought from Amorae in Ongar, which fitted her perfectly and she looked absolutely stunning.

The bridesmaids’ dresses were chosen from an online company; again they all looked wonderful as did the boys, navy blue being a popular colour. The lovely flowers came from Abridge florists.

The reception was held in a great marquee in Georgina’s parents’ grounds, they also provided a surprise for everybody in the form of ‘Soprano Bella’, who were absolutely superb, I am not going to give too much away but just to say their performance was incredible and there were a few tears amongst the audience including the photographer!

Wedding Photographers at Channels, near Chelmsford, Essex – Kristy & Ryan

Another trip to the fabulous Channels for Kristy and Ryan’s wedding and as always we used the walkway between the tall trees to capture the wedding photos.

Kristy’s dress from Bellisima Brides in South Woodham Ferrers was absolutely gorgeous and she looked beautiful. Little Tiffany’s dress came from the ever popular BHS.

Ryan and the boys looked great in their suits from David Whites.

Flowers were from Meadowcroft in South Woodham Ferrers and a friend very kindly made their cake!

Top marks to Zoe who organised and seems to be brilliant at everything!
